DSL langsam

Hello O2,

My DSL is too slow. It is giving speed as low as 4Mbps. This is happening almost all the time. I already restarted and did the factory reset of the router but still the same issue.

Moderators can you please help me.

Hello amolg,
if you still encounter difficulties regarding the DSL connection please contact the DSL technical service via hotline. If you do not speak any german at all I recommend to call with a friend of yours since we can not promise that you will reach an english-speaking agent.

Hello amolg,
I had a look at your DSL line. On first view, it looks alright. How did you measure the speed? Were you connected via LAN cable or did you use WiFi? If you used WiFi please test again while being connected via LAN cable and all no other device is connected to the router and no downloads or updates are running in the background.

I connected via LAN and measured when no other devices are connected to the router also tested on different laptops as well. I did the factory reset of the router as well but there is no improvement. Also i noticed that the router gets restarted and sometimes no internet as well.
Can you please look into this issue.

Hello amolg,
I had a look into this. We ordered a 50MBit/s connection at the local provider, that connection was activated and established. So this line should allow you to use the 25MBit/s that you have acording to your tariff. I found several disconnects on your line and the connection is somewhat slow.
Do you have this from the beginning? Or is it only for some time now?
Are you using the cables that came with the router or are you using other, may blonger cables between the wall socket and the router? Or maybe some additional hardware like a splitter?

Hi @o2_Lars ,

Earlier I use to get the speed upto 10MBit/s but from last month it is too worst around 4MBit/s with several disconnects. Also the router gets restarted and sometimes no internet as well.

I am using the cables that came with Router without any splitter or long cables.

Request you to please look into this issue. I am not able to work with such bad internet connection.
