DSL Contract Termination

Hello Dear Customer Service,

I am planning to register for O2 my Home M (24 Mon.) at my home. But probably, 7 months later I'll have to move in the dormitory which has already internet connection. If so, is it possible to terminate my contract without paying cancellation fee?

Could you please let me know about the cancellation policy?

Hi,
gladly I assist you in this matter. If you sign a 24 month contract you have to fullfill it no matter what is going to happen in your personal life planning. Exception: you move abroad. Then you get a right for an extraordinary cancellation. So if you just move to a place where already internet access exists you have the chance to take the contract with you and put it on hold as long as the contract ends regularily or you pay the remaining amount in one sum. 17 month left multiplied with the basic charge is an expensive pleasure. So may I give you some advice? Please sign a contract with no period. You will have to pay 50 EUR more for the router (if you need one) but you are free to end the line without any extra charges.
