Hello,

I moved to another country in July 2018 and sent my home-dsl cancellation letter with the documents required. I received only a confirmation email showing the receipt of my letter. It's been more than 1.5 month but still not cancelled. Could you please check and send me the cancellation date?

Thanks in advance,
Gülnihal

Hello gparlak,
we do not have access to these calls, sorry. If something like that was said it was a mistake. We need this Bescheinigung since this is the official document that shows that you left the country or at least the last adress you lived at.
You will find every information to pay from a foreign country on the invoice.
Regards,
Lars

Hello gparlak,
I had a look into this. As of today I can see "only" the contract for renting a flat in a foreign country. What we still need is the "Abmeldebescheinigung" from your german "Einwohnermeldeamt". We sent you an email regadring this in September. As long as this document is not provided the cancelation will take place on the 30th of November 2019.
Regards,
Lars

Hello Lars,

Thank you for your email. I checked my email again and I didn't receive any notification regarding this. Also, I called O2 call center before I left Germany (July 18). The call center informed me about that my new rent contract in Belgium would be enough if I attach that to the cancellation letter. You can check from the call records.

You put me in a difficult condition as I'm charged by extra 2 months' invoices due to missing information. I haven't used internet since July and I have to again post the abmeldung confirmation.

My second question is about the payment. I see a "Letzte Rechnung" in o2online. My German bank account which I had a SEPA transfer order for O2 is closed. How can I pay this invoice? Is the IBAN written on the invoice enough to state while I transfer the amount?

Thanks in advance,

Can I send the abmeldung confirmation by email as I already sent the other documents and modem by post before. If yes, could you please send me an email address?

I sent the missing Bescheinigung as well. You might have received it on 2nd of November. I kindly ask for your help to complete the cancellation process. I don't want to pay a third month's invoice although I do not use any internet.

Thank you,
Best

After all papers are presented you have to pay a penalty of 3 months and the current months, means up to 4 months to pay is the legal regulation (TKG).

What is it? Is it new? You informed me at the beginning of the contract that if I have to leave the country, I can cancel it by sending the required documents!

Why do you arise new issues now? You said that you cancel if I also send abmeldung confirmation and I sent!

I moved to Belgium due to family reasons. Really I can't believe it now you also say that I have to pay another 3 months' penalty! Please check again!

Look in the law. You can cancel everytimes. But that means NOT, that this is free of charge or wihout a penalty. And I´m not O2 - only a customer with experience 😉

Hi gparlak.
Did you sent the papers via fax or as a letter by post? Till now (05.11 19:13) still no new documents from you.

@o2_Matze
Ich glaube kaum, das die 01805-Fax-Nummern aus dem Ausland erreichbar sind ...
An solchen Dingen hängt es dann.

Ah, guter Hinweis! Asche auf mein Haupt, das hatte ich so gar nicht bedacht.
Dann wird das ganze sicher per Post gewesen sein.

Hello gparlak,
well, in your case the address in Nuremburg would have been the "correct" one. It may take several days until we have this information in your customer data so as of now I can only ask for some patience. As the documents are transfered the will keep the timestamp of the moment thet these reached us.

Lars

It is a DSL contract, that's why I always sent my posts to Hamburg address. I received one more invoice, but my tariff still seems active! Can you please inform about the status? How can't a cancellation process be completed within 3 months in total? It's been 11 days since the bescheinigung document was also received by O2...Very disappointing! 😞

Unfortunately we still did not recieve the documents so I can only recommend to send it again to the right address, in your case this is:
Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG
Kundenbetreuung
90345 Nürnberg
Sorry for any inconveniences.

Lars

Hello gparlak,
unfortunateyl I still can not see any documents sent by letter or fax. Maybe it is possible that there was some information missing in the letter like for example the customer number or the phone number this document does concern?
As the needed document is still missing there is no change in the cancelation and the monthly base fee is still running... :-/

Lars

I received another invoice ("Abschlussrechnung") on 18th of February. Could you please confirm whether my DSL contract is cancelled or not?

Also, I am very surprised to see that O2 charges a total fee of 129€. Why does O2 charge extra one-off fees as well with this invoice? I've already paid since July 2018 even though I haven't used any service.I don't want to pay this amount which is not fair!

Dear o2 support team,

I paid the final bill which includes the cancellation fee. o2 has charged a few
bills for a few months which is not fair, by not cancelling my subscription
despite my all attempts to do so. Furthermore, I have the feeling that making a
simple cancellation process that much difficult is against the good will. Such
inefficient and disrespectful behavior of o2 not just results in bad customer
satisfaction but also causes a bad reputation overall. Please also remove my
all credentials from all of your systems, I do not want to receive any
marketing emails, messages, etc. from o2. Otherwise, I will use all my rights
according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

As a result, if I receive any other bill in the future, I will no longer pay any
amount and take this to the court.

Best regards,
