Cancel my contract

Hello,
I had signed an O2 contract on 04 Jan 19 , and I have an appointment for processing the connection on 21 Jan 19. But I found out that there is already an internet connection available in my apartment. So I want to cancel my contract with O2. How can I possibly do it?

i got a mail saying that I have to arrange for a new appointment or I will be charged a termination fee. ? what is happening. Why do I have to pay, when I have already sent request for cancellation ?
