Are there any ways to confirm my online o2 DSL cancellation?

Dear o2 office,

According to the instruction of DSL cancellation, I've applied for online cancellation. It said I still need to call by phone to initiate the process, so I've called, but as I totally moved to another country in EU, my german phone does not work the given number. My friend staying in Germany also tried with the number, but it only says she needs to wait 45 min, so she couldn't wait/waste that long time without any gurantee.

Could you please let me know if there is any other solution instead of calling by phone? Do you think the letter may work? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks much!

to cancel the contract you can also use fax or letter.

Remember that you can sent a fax by using your PC, maybe using this service E-POST | Deutsche Post 

If you want to cancel your contract befor ending (if you have one with minimum contract term) o2 need also a offical document that you have leave germany (logofff confirmation or else)
