Lost money after cancelling the contract?


Hello everybody, 

 

may I ask why the company is still getting money from me after I have canceled my contract already? 

I sent an mail to the company last year September, and have received the confirmation SMS for that.

Currenly, I am not even in Germany. Can someone please help me with the situation?

 

I mean I can’t find any online contact formular in the website.

first of all, we received your contract cancellation from October 8th 2019. Your contract extendet for another year on September 14th. So the next possible date to cancel is September 14th 2020.

 

For an extraordinary dismissal, because of moving abroad, some guidelines have to be observed:

  • Deregistration certificate of the German residence (copy) and
  • Registration certificate of foreign residence (copy)

            or 

  • Rental contract, employment contract, certificate of matriculation abroad
  • Soldiers deployed abroad and their families: Marching orders
  • Embassy staff and their relatives: Confirmation of the embassy

An advance payment is then due.

We have not received any of these documents from you, so your contract is currently running normally until the normal termination date.

Of course, some of our colleagues work in home-office now. But this does not change the cancellation procedure. Just feel free to send the cancellation because of moving abroad together with the requested documents to the address listed in the cancellation letter.
