Hi all. I am quite disappointed by the service provided by O2 in Germany. I moved to Munich in February 2023, and ordered O2 my Home L for 24 months. However two months after moving to Munich my job contract was cancelled and I had to move away to a different country. I did not register my name under meinO2 because when I try to do it, the system did not accept it, and thus I could never communicate with O2. I sent several emails to the only email availbale for contact on the internet: impressum@cc.o2online.de . However I never got any reply. In the email I requested a cancellation of the contract because of moving out of Germany. I cancelled my contract succesfully with my mobile provider Freenet fairly easy. Moving to another country should be a valid reason to cancel your contract. However I never got any reply from O2, and I am still being charged for services, 3 months out of Germany. I feel I have been abused by a company. In general, Internet service providers are among the worst companies for cancelling services. I am aware of that. This is true in all countries I have been and here in Europe too. However, companies should have channels to communicate with their customers, not just charge money independently of the situation of their customers. I do not know what to do to communicate with O2. They never reply my emails and I have no way to connect to them. Their customer service by phone is designed to make you lose time and energy fairly quickly. I would not recommend having a contract with O2 company.
I hope O2 connects to me and we try to find a solution out. My Kundennummer is ****
