Question about the bill

I was on the plan postpaid M flex 19.99eur and I decided to cancel it on 6.4.2024 and signed up for other plan instead. I received the bill to pay 52 eur. I’m confused because the hotline service didn’t mention anything about the additional fee when I made the contract, cancelled, and signed up for the new one. They only told me about the monthly pay that it will only be 19.99 eur. I feel tricked. I don’t have that much money to pay. This is too much.

Please help. Thank you so much.

Moin Moin,

Normaly there is a onetime fee of 39,99€. If you Substrat 39,99 than the price is ok?

You should have get a email with all the costs from O2 do you get this email.

And if done via phone you have to confirm that with a klick on a link, you have done so?

Hi. Thank you so much for your answer. Yes, I got the email but I didn’t know about this fee. I called O2 customer service so many times. No one mentioned this. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change from prepaid to postpaid. I’m just a student. And I am already O2 prepaid customer. I don’t understand why I have to pay for it.

Which tariff did you switch to? the M Flex is a postpaid tariff. What exactly does the invoice say on page 2?

It is M flex 19.99 eur per month. I started with prepaid then I had problem with my payment so called the english hotline which he convinced me to transfer to postpaid M flex because there is no prepaid english hotline so I did. Later, I realized that I don’t use much data anymore so I called to cancel the M flex and changed to S boost flex for under 29 years old instead on 6.4.2024.

then this will be a tariff change fee. It is as written in the invoice.

Hey @Jean26,

I'm sorry that the costs were not immediately clear to you. Were you able to find the point in your invoice and your contract documents? Did Bumer's tips help you?

Best regards,
Flo
