I travelled to India after my planed landed turned off aeroplane mode, after few minutes I got an sms “Wilkommen in Indien”, after some time my phone got switched off.

After charging the phone for few minutes I switched on the phone, however this time my phone got no mobile network

I tried changing the network type between LTE/3G/2G still no go

Tried to choose the preferred network manually however all the network types and providers where shown as forbidden

Does it require a specific mobile network settings or network plan in this case ?

Hello @hakki007,

welcome to our o2 Community 😀

I'm sorry that you seem to be having problems using your prepaid card in India.

There is no block on your SIM card for international use. Please try to see if you can select another provider's network.

Many providers in India only offer GSM for roaming, so connections may be very slow. Some applications may not function properly.

Since the costs for using mobile internet are quite high (12.29 EUR per MB), I would recommend to either use WiFi networks or purchase a prepaid card on site.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia
