Hi, I am new to Germany and still trying to figure out the language. I have been using o2 for 2 months with “o2 My Prepaid L” package but I am interested in the newest package from O2 called “o2 Mobile M Boost Flex mit 50 GB+”. I am 20 years old so I can pick the Junge Leute option, which reduce the price from €37,99 to €22,99. I want to choose the non-contract option, which comes with a one time €39,99 Anschlusspreis. I have a few questions about it:

1. How to order the new package?

I can not see the package on Mein o2 app. I know that I can order online but I don’t know if there is an option to keep my current phone number and the credit since I still have €30 on my current number.

2. Does the Jungeleute discount only apply for one time?

I am planning to stay in Germany for 5 more months; so if I am planning to keep this same package for 5 months, will the monthly price stays €22,99?

3. If I am interested in another package during the 5 months or if this package got removed by o2, will I need to pay another Anschlusspreis for a new package?

Hopefully someone can help me with this questions. Thank you so much!

Hi @Nasya,

you are welcome in our community🙂Thank you for your first post. 💙

  1. You can order the contract in one of our o2 Shops or on our Page.
  1. The discount will be on you contrack till you are “too old” (<29 jears).
  1. You have to pay the “Anschlusspreis” only at the first time of booking. When you change the tariff ther will be no “Anschlusspreis” but perhaps tariff change fees.

Could I help you with this informations? Please post here again if you have more questions. 🙂

Best regards. Marco

Hi Marco, Thank you so much for replying. I have been waiting for a reply for so long. I am wondering if I can keep my current number and the credit I have left in it?

Hi @Nasya,

yes exactly, you can take your number from your prepaid to your postpaid contract and your balance will be transferred there as well. 🙂

Greetings, Marco
