keep my old number

Hello,my contract is finishing on 18 october this year and after that i want to keep my number on pre-paid.But some of employees said to me if you dont extend your contract my number will be deactivated,its that true?Thanks

it's not true. After the end of your contract and deactivation you have 90 Days to take your number to another Prepaid Provider. But it's not possible to Change vom o2 Postpaid to o2 Prepaid.  

Ich bin selbst nur Kundin und keine Mitarbeiterin von/bei o2! Wenig bis gar keine Infos regen lediglich zu Spekulationen statt zur Hilfestellung an ??‍♀️

I am sorry to hear that you want to cancel the contract with us. Regarding the cancelation you will find further information in this article.

As @Bollermann already said we do not offer the transfer of a mobile number from a postpaid to a prepaid contract. If you need the phone number the only possibility is to transfer it to another mobile operator :-/
