Cancellation and New contract


Dear all.

 

In 2019 I did an O2 contract with phone + tariff. Now that I'm getting close to the expiration date of the contract and my phone is still working well, I want to change my contract. For example, I want one which is just mobile Internet data + phone calls.

 

Can I do it and keep my number? Since I'm getting close to the 3 month notice period, I already canceled the current contract. Is there a way I can keep the number without leaving O2? I'm happy with the service.

 

Any tips will be appreciated,

Of course, it is possible that you keep your number if you prolong your contract for the next 24 months. 

 

How much data-volume do you prefer? At the moment you have 20 GB data-volume. You will get the same tariff “o2 Free M Boost” with 40 GB data-volume.

 

At the moment, we also offer the package “o2 Select & Stream” for 12 months for free. It is possible for you to order this package together with the tariff “o2 Free M Boost”. Would this be of interest for you?

I don't know how much longer I'd stay in Germany. Therefore,if possible, I don't want to accept another 24 month of contract.

 

Also, 10gb of data would be more than enough for my nominal needs. 

Is there some tariff that O2 can offer for my profile?

a change from a 24 month contract like you have to a monthly version is not possible. But if you are moving abroad, just take a look at this article: Extraordinary cancellation because of moving abroad
