The number of caller is not displayed despite CLIP being activated in Fritzbox. And Telephone number transmission is also shown active in Mein O2 account.

And Telephone number transmission is also shown active in Mein O2 account.

“Mein o2” does not show any status for Telephone number transmission at all. You have to click on “Rufnummernübertragung aktivieren” und then on “Bestätigen”. Then wait for up to 48 hours.

Please note that this setting only applies to the outgoing transmission of your phone number, i.e. when you call someone. 


Die Nummer des Anrufers wird nicht angezeigt, obwohl CLIP in der Fritzbox aktiviert ist. Und auch die Rufnummernübermittlung wird im Mein O2 Konto als aktiv angezeigt. Ich habe gelernt, dass es manuell aktiviert werden muss. Also, wenn mir jemand helfen kann.

Geht es dir um eingehende Anrufe oder um ausgehende Anrufe?


Thanks alot all the time I thought that it is being activated so, i didnot touch it. Now i have did it manually and will wait untill the time is completed.

Die Rufnummerübermittlung zu dir ist bei uns standardmäßig immer aktiv, eine weitere Einstellung dazu wäre danach dann nur noch bei dir am Endgerät zu finden. Wenn trotz allem dann keine Rufnummer zu dir übertragen wird, dann kontaktiere hier bitte die Technik, damit eine Störung aufgenommen wird für deinen Anschluss.

@o2_Sven i have connected my fritzbox to my mobile phone using Fritzapp fon and in the settings the “Tel. No. Suppressed” is also not activated but still showing  No caller ID OR unknown Number. 

! I tried to check it with DECT phone and Gigaset DX800 it all shows the same

please don’t mix up incoming and outgoing calls as there are two separate cases. If you call from your phone and no number is being transfered then you can follow the instructions of blablup and change this through your mein o2 account.

Yes, it is like this, when i call from my phone at the end device it is not showing Caller ID. I did what blablup suggested and now i will wait and will surely comment again the result. Do I have to restart my Fritzbox after waiting for that much time ?


@yousaf Please wait minimum 24 hours and than check if it works. You don’t need to update settings in the Fritzbox. Hope to hear from you good news in 24 hours.


now it has been more then 48 hours and it is still the same “No Caller ID”. What could be the problem.?

I went through the instrustions of @blablup and @Joe Doe but in my case i waited a complete week and now it is working. Thanks for your support.
