My DSL is too slow


This is my Plan:

 

Surf flat with up to 100 Mbit / s in download and up to 40 Mbit / s in upload without data choke *

 

But this is what shows in FritzBox. The connection to the DSL is slow.

 

It was good when i started the contract. But now it is very slow.

Hello @bennegeek and welcome to our o2 community :-)

I suggest to have a look at our o2 my Service App for your smartphone to check the connection. It will check some things and will suggest solutions. If this solutions do not work it will generatae a code that you can give to our DSL technical departement that you will reach by phone.

Please keep us updated regarding this issue so we may have a look into this after a trouble tickets was opend (if necessary).

@bennegeek you have massive errors on your line. How long you have the contract? When your problems start? Did you have more than one TAE Box in your room there you can connect your Fritzbox?

@Joe Doe I started the contract September 2019. I don’t know what a TAE Box is. What does it look like? Is it the outlet, there’s multiple outlets.

My first option for you. 1.) Switch off your Fritzbox 2.) Remove and reinsert the DSL cable several times in the TAE wall connector. 3.) Switch on the Fritzbox 3.) Post again here a picture from your line quality. (Tap DSL)

@bennegeek can you please post again the technical infos from the tap DSL?

Some information for you. You have a DLM (digital line management) profile (90/37) from the DSLAM. This slow down your line speed down for more stability. If nothing happened the next two weeks you will automatically get a faster profile/sync. Don’t power up or reset your Fritzbox in this time range.

Other important thing. I see you use a German Fritzbox 7430. In some weeks you can get an update to firmware version 7.20.

With this version you can switch the box to other system language like English, Spanish etc. Look my article for more information. (Last two pictures)

For language change you don’t need to reset your Fritzbox. 😀
