I just recently moved from Bayreuth to Heidelberg and the connection for my new apartment was for today 08.June.2020

The technician came and everything seemed perfect, I waited until I received my activation e-mail from o2 (at the end of my indicated time slot which was from 08-12) and I connected my router. All 3 buttons are on green, and I connect to the wifi but the connection is not working. When I go to http://192.168.1.1/ it says “nicht verbindung” or something like that in german. It has already been more than 6 hours after my time slot ended.

What can I do or who can help me?

Edit o2_Lars: Moved from DSL/Router to English/Broadband

Hello @Lina_pm,

I a msorry to hear that the DSL connection at your new address does not work as it should. Have you already tried resetting the DSL router to factory defaults and install it with the credentials that you reieved prior to moving to this address? All cables are functioning and the plugs are set firmly in the sockets they belong?

If the connection still does not work consider installing our o2 my Service App on your smartphone in order to check the connection. It may be necessary to contact our technical DSL hotline.

If you do not speak any german at all I recommend to call with a friend of yours who does so since we can not promise that you will reach an english speaking agent.
