Switching contracts


Hello!

A few days ago I was looking at the O2 website and found a new plan that I felt would suit me more than the current one I am on. I am a happy O2 customer and I’m on the O2 15, I think. The contract renewed recently, but I would like to migrate from my old contract to the new one I just ordered, even if that means signing for another 2 years.

Can you please tell me if this is possible, and if so, what steps I need to take? I have received the new SIM card for the new plan but have not yet activated it.

Hi!

 

It sounds to me that you have signed a new contract. Can you find something like partner card (Partnerkarte) in your order?. If you didn't cancel the old contract, you now have two contracts.
You cannot take a mobile phone number from o2 to o2 with you.
If you did not want this, then you should revoke the new contract, if possible.If you ordered a new smartphone, than you have to revoke this seperate too.

use the “Widerrufsbelehrung” from the mail you received after you ordered the second contract.
