Hi,
I have an old O2 German number to which my WhatsApp is connected. Since I want to change my phone but keep the same WP account, I will need to provide a PIN. I tried to register to Mein O2 to find the PIN (since i don’t remember it) with my phone number but it tells me it is invalid.
The format of my number is this: +49 xxx xxxxxxxx
So there are 11 digits after the country code. I don’t understand what the issue is. Can anybody help?

Is it possible that O2 has discarded my number or something? Since I have only used it for whatsapp but not the sim card.

I suspect that the prepaid card has been deactivated.
