Danke.
Dear, good morning. In November 2021 I bought a device and sign up for the o2 service for mobile telephony in Bonn, Germany. This year in April, I will be relocating to Spain to live and reside there. Is it possible to change the number from Germany to Spain and continue with the service? Or how can I request to cancel the service in Germany to register in Spain? Thanks.

Hello @juli2022
Did you signed only for a mobile tariff or tariff and Handy?
Mmm I’m not sure, I think it is tariff and Handy, here is a screen of my monthly costs.
This Link is for cancel the mobile contract because moving abroad
To cancel the myHandy contract you can find all informations here
Ok, so, I understand that I can cancel my contract, but only if I pay the amount of the total contract less what I have already payed.
Did I understood ok?
In the other hand, hope you can help me with this too. My next invoice’s amount is more than it is used to be. Where can I check all the concepts included? This is from the invoice but the “Verbindungen & Services” is really high. Where can i see that detail?
Hello ,
For the tariff only one another month, after moving abroad (29,99€)
To end the o2 my Handy contract prematurely and to pay the remaining installments at once,
Hi! It a little confusion for me that answer. Please confirm with yes/no if possible:
“I understand that I can cancel my contract, but only if I pay the amount of the total contract less what I have already payed.”
Did I understood ok?
And what about the charges in my last invoice, could you help me with that?
Thank you, Happy sunday.
Hello @juli2022,
thank you for your enquiry and welcome to the community! @Bollermann has actually already answered everything here regarding your request. Thank you for your support. I can only try to formulate it again in other words: for the contract (tariff), you send the extraordinary termination due to moving abroad and all necessary documents to o2. As soon as the cancellation has been processed, you do NOT have to pay the entire remaining outstanding basic fee, but only the basic fee for another month. With a mobile phone (hardware, device) it is different - for this you would then have to pay the outstanding balance that is still left at once when you terminate the contract, as this is not a rental contract for the device but a payment. Of course, the remaining amount would not be cancelled.
And which fees do you mean from your last bill? Was something calculated incorrectly?
Kind regards Jessica
Jessica,
Thank you both for helping me with this questions. So much for re-formulating the answer. This was much clear for me.
I do not understand any of my inoives’s amount actually.
I sign a contract where I would pay the handy 29.99 and I have a discount monthly of 10.00. When I bought the handy and sign the contract, I payed for one time 49 euros for the handy, and then I will be paying it along the months with the ‘O2 Free M Plan’.
But any of my invoices reflects that. As you can see here, I always have the Grundgebühren 29,99 € and the Vergünstigungen / Guthaben -10,00 €, but aditional costs are there also.
Could you explain to me what are these extra costs? and how to stop them.
Also, today I had the automatic debit in my account, but I remove the money because I do not what are you charging me. And now, I’m afraid you will charge me ‘Zusatzleistungen Zusatzleistungen 5,20 €’ because of this in my next invoice.
Could you help me please to understand and stop all this extra costs? This was not what I sign up, or at least I think it wasn’t.
The first invoice was probably just for a few days, so you will have been charged pro rata. The second invoice is 29.99 - 10.00 as per your contract but you used your phone to pay for something (3.60). The third and fourth invoices also include costs for calls and services. These should be detailed on page 2 of the invoice. Did you make calls to a number outside Germany or to a service number, for example? Also the Zusatzleistungen schould be clear from page 2 of the invoice.
What do you mean by ‘remove the money’. Did you request your bank to refund the direct debit? That was a bad idea without first clarifying the situation with o2 because now you will automatically incur additional charges.
Ok, thank you. I can’t tell you how grateful I’m for your help.
Yes I have called to Argentina, but I understood that I do not have charges for calling that country.
Where can I see how much does the minute cost for Argentina? I could not find it on O2 web.
So is this detail ‘Verbindungen’ for that call to ARG? or what does it mean?
I did not asked for a refund, I just leave my account without the money available, so the debit could not be carried out.
How can I pay the invoice today? If I pay it right now (same due date as invoice), should I be charged anyway?
Thank you.
If the direct debit bounced then you will be charged 4 Euros to cover the bank fees o2 incurs.
You can pay today by bank transfer to avoid further additional charges:
Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG Bank: HypoVereinsbank AG München BIC/SWIFT: HYVEDEMMXXX IBAN: DE16 7002 0270 0005 7131 53
Make sure that you enter only your customer number as the reference.
Yes, Verbindungen are calls. Calls to Argentina cost €1,19/minute:

ok.
I see, I have used 5 minuten on abroad calls, but 5*1,19 ist 5.95 (not 28,56).
Where can I see more details of this 28,58 in my last invoice? You are right that I called abroad, but, the total doesn’t fit with the minutes I used it.
Hello,
thank you a lot @bs0 for all your support. That is very much helpful!
Unfortunately, your forum account is not connected to your phone number, so I can't check myself whether you have activated itemized billing, @juli2022. Can you find the corresponding itemized bill next to the bill?
In an itemized bill, you would find a list of the calls, etc. that cost you something. Problem: the itemized bills cannot be created retrospectively. This means that if you are not yet active, you could activate it and then you would have the corresponding listings for future invoices.
Kind regards Jessica
Ok, I have found the itemized billing and the reason of that amount.
Thank you so much for all your help!
Wish you a nice weekend!
