Unlimited O2 Internet-to-Go - Sim-Card Never Arrives (> 2 weeks)


I have orderd o2 Internet-to-Go with unlimited data on January 9th, yet I have not received anything.
While ordering it says it is avaialle immediatey (2-3 days). Still I don’t know what is the status my order. I do have email confirmation about my order (Auftragsnummer). 

Strangely last week on January 17th, all of a sudden, I got an email that “please activate your SIM card.”. But what SIM-card? I have nothing. of course I tried to call O2 customer serive, and after connecting to multiple departments and repeating the whole story, of course, the line was hung up on me. I cannot resolve it, I cannot track it. Customer service has been super unreliable and unresposive, I am stuck. 

I bet soon one day they are gong to charge me. Because the last email about the Sim-card activation says “If you have not yet activated your SIM card, it will be activated automatically in about 14 days.”, Bingo! 


Has anyone experienced the same thing? Any hints on how to resolve this is appreciated. I am at the edge of simply cancelling it before even trying it out. I guess I have those rights.

First of all, I would like to apologize for your experience with our customer support. 

What is the status of the matter? Do you still need support?
