Tried to port my o2 number to new provider, but was rejected why?

I tried posting my o2 prepaid number to new provider.

But o2 rejected my request. Why was this rejected. 

o2 is too costly for me.

 

Requesting you help me port my number to a new provider.

I called them. They told me to contact an other number as the number you provided was to postpaid.
