Hello,

I just came to Germany 8 days ago to study but I have now changed my mind and decided to go back to my home country.

I will not be staying in Germany. I also had not even enrolled in the university nor registered my stay in Germany. Therefore, I do not have any of those documents.

I will also be leaving Germany tomorrow and I will not be coming back. I will not be able to cancel my contract by post and can only do it by e-mail.

I called the O2 hotline and they told me to call the O2 branch where I got the contract directly to cancel the contract. I have tried contacting the O2 branch shop in Duisburg (where I got my contract) but to no avail. The receiver of the call answered rudely and did not even provide me with any information regarding the cancellation.

I have a O2 free M Boost contract which runs for 2 years starting on 17/9/2019 but I would like to cancel it immediately and pay the 3 months early cancellation fees.

I hope you can assist me in this matter.

Kind regards
Hey @jackie100,

welcome to the o2 community. 😊

Im sorry to hear that you leave germany so fast.

Where do you conclude the contract? In the shop or online?

Have a nice day,

Tatjana
Hi Tatjana,

thanks for the reply.

I have concluded the contract online but I would like to terminate the contract as soon as possible as I am currently not in Germany anymore.

Kind regards,

Jackie
Hello @jackie100 ,

please use this form in order to cancel your Contract:

Cancellation - Moving abroad

Please don´t forget the mentioned documents, as they are necessary for cancelling the contract early.

Viele Grüße,

Kurt

Hello Kurt,

thank you for the reply.

I prepared the documents and have filled in the form “Cancellation-Moving abroad”. However, I can’t seem to send the documents through fax to the mentioned number (01805 571 766).

Are there any other numbers, which i can fax the documents to?

Regards,

Jackie

@o2_Kurt

Wäre Widerruf nicht sinnvoller?    gewesen  (oh Mist -zu spät gesehen wie alt der Kram)

Zitat:

I just came to Germany 8 days ago …

I will also be leaving Germany tomorrow and I will not be coming back.

Hi @jackie100,

thanks for your request.

Did you already try the number with the prefix for Germany: +49 1805 571766.

Alternatively, you can send the documents together with the cancellation by post to the following address:

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, Kundenbetreuung, 90345 Nürnberg.

I hope I could be of help to you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hello, can you also send me the form "Cancellation-Moving Abroad" , preferably in English and German language.

Can I give this directly to any 02 shop to cancel my contract ?

https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/contract-cancellation-moving-abroad/

You need to send it to the address on the form together with the necessary documents.

Hello @Kkris ,
thanks for posting your request to the community. 😃
bs0 already linked the necassary document. Is there anything else we can do for you?

Thanks to bs0 for helping here in the thread 😍

kind regards
Michael

Hello,

Thank your for the responses. In regards to the 2nd requirement, what is the alternative to this (a notification of your new, foreign domicile
alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord)? I do not have a new employer, I am simply going home to my home country.

Dear @Kkris ,

you will surely live somewhere, can you get confirmation from there? Or do you have a new employment contract or a certificate of enrolment?

Kind regards,

Andrea
