Hello, Can o2 change my tariff whenever they like although I'm still on the bill? I'm on an Unlimited surfing all over EU Tariff been outside of Germany for 10 months now, for 9 months it was ok and now all of a sudden I'm being charged for money after 22 GB surfing, has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

"Unlimited" is only inside Germany.

the "fair use Policy" - Limits for EU Roaming:

Unlimited Basic 16,8 GB

Unlimited Smart 22,4 GB

Unlimited Max 33,7 GB

Sorry to bother but, since when this "fair use Policy" was put in action?

Hi @PrimalPete

welcome to our English Community.

Nice that @Bollermann already helped you with the fair use-policy.

You already agreed to the fair-use-policy when you ordered the o2 Free Unlimited-contract. So, it should not surprise you that you receive now also a data-limit outside Germany.

You find more information about the fair-use-policy in our pricelist on page 11

The fair-use-policy was introduced to relieve the provider. Among other things, this should ensure that you do not take out a cheap tariff abroad and use it permanently in Germany. Accordingly, various special regulations apply abroad.

I hope that you now understand the fair-use-policy a little bit better.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
