Hi,

I'm overseas (non-EU) and almost couldn't receive any SMS.

Problem:

I need to receive two SMS codes from o2online.de and Skype to my O2 phone number while I'm here.

I managed to receive one single SMS from o2online.de but it took 20 minutes to arrive, at which point the code has already expired. All later attempts to get the code failed, no more codes ever arrived despite being requested.

I also managed to receive one SMS from Skype. It took 30 minutes, and again all later attempts failed.

I am currently connected to a foreign cell network -- I chose the manual network section in my phone settings (instead of automatic) and it worked. The cell connection is stable.

All my smartphone roaming-related settings are enabled.

But I wasn't able to find any O2 roaming settings -- neither in the Mein O2 mobile app nor on o2online.de.

Questions:

1. How to fix this?
2. Is it because I need to enable some roaming settings in the O2 app? How do I enable them?
3. Why there are no roaming settings in my O2 app? Could it be related to the fact that I wasn't registered in Germany (I had a short-term stay) and therefore never provided my registration to O2?
4. There's another problem with o2online.de account — the email confirmation link never arrives in my inbox. So, my O2 account doesn't have a confirmed email. Could the missing roaming settings be related to that?
