Simcard not working


My sim card suddenly stopped working. I can’t receive/ send SMS or receive/make phone calls. I tried to login to mein O2 but it also needs SMS verification code. I couldn’t receive any SMS verification code. The signal shows alright. It did not show “ no service”.

I have this prepaid sim card for more than 5 years. Current contract remains until 25 Jan 2023. I haven’t met this situation before. Could you help me?

What happens if you call your prepaid mobile phone number from another connection?

“Die von Ihnen gewählte Nummer ist nicht vergeben” (The number you dialed is not assigned) or does your mailbox answer or “Der Teilnehmer ist im Moment nicht erreichbar. Versuchen sie es später noch einmal / Der Teilnehmer ist nicht erreichbar, wird aber über ihren Anruf per SMS benachrichtigt” ("The subscriber cannot be reached at the moment. Please try again later", “The subscriber is not available at the moment, but will be informed of your call via SMS”)?
