Hi @bmot,
nice that you are interested to prolong your contracts.
Which device would be interesting for you?
Please check your personal offers first of all online under this link: http://g.o2.de/vvl Do you see there already interesting offers for you?
If you have any further questions, we are pleased to help you here in our English community.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi Tobias, thanks for the answer. I was really hoping for help with the contract if possible. Specifically, can you advise me on the best way to extend both of them together without it costing me more money than now? I get 50% off the more expensive contract which is quite significant. I have o2FreeM and o2FreeS. As for a phone, it’s not crucial that I get a new one but mine is a few years old so I would be happy to upgrade if there was a good deal included with the contract renewal. It would need to be Android (except Huawei or Xiaomi) and in the low-mid range.
I look forward to hearing from you, have a nice evening.
Has anyone else got a suggestion? It seems Tobias isn't around at the moment and his answer didn't address my question at all. Thank you!
Ok I'll continue with writing answers here and how that o2 has someone available to reply soon. I went to an o2 Shop when I was in the town yesterday, the man in there could only offer a much more expensive offer for contract renewal. But he said if I wait until September I can get a better offer. I'm not quite sure why, because the o2 app says I can renew now. So that means for now I guess the subject can wait a few months, unless an o2 Guru has another solution. Thanks
Hi @bmot,
sorry for the delay.
But please be aware of the fact that with each message you jump again to the end of the waiting queue. So, this means that it takes longer for you to get an answer.
I suppose that the shop wants to wait for the end of your duration of your existing contracts in order to offer you 2 totally new contracts with 2 new mobile phone numbers. But please note that you are not able to port your existing mobile phone numbers to the new contracts.
If you like to keep your mobile phone numbers, you need to prolong your contracts. I just checked your possibilities.
At the moment, it is not possible for you to keep your discount of 15 €. Therefore, I understand if you like to wait still some more months.
For your son, the best offer I can find is the 50% combination-benefit.
I sent both offers to you by e-mail.
Pursuant to the decree of transparency I need to inform you about our tariff leaflets which you can download here: http://g.o2.de/travo. There you'll find all details of the product listed.
If you like to accept one or both of these offers, just click on the button in the e-mail “Vertrag verlängern” (prolong your contract).
If you like to receive an offer with a device, just let me know which device is interesting for you. You find a list of our devices here: http://g.o2.de/handyohnetarif
I look forward to your response.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
@o2_Tobias thank you for the offer and the answer, I will read through and check my options. And thanks also for the tip about moving to the end of the waiting list if I respond again - good to know and I'll hold back my impatience next time!
Hi @bmot,
thanks for your reply.
I look forward to your message.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi @bmot,
did you already check the offers that I sent to you by e-mail? Was there already an attractive offer that would be interesting for you?
If you have any further questions, just feel free to contact our English community.
By the way, on Thursday, 23rd July at 8 p.m. you have the chance to see a live-concert of the group Revolverheld . You can just see and listen to the music from your home. You are warmly welcome!
Loving greetings,
Tobias
@o2_Tobias thanks for the email, however it didn't really hit the right spot so I won't take it up. I'll wait a bit and see if I can get something closer to my wishes (my son doesn't need so much data, nor do I).
Charles
Hi @bmot,
I regret that I do not have a better offer for you at the moment.
Please come back in a few months again here in the English community. Then we will have a look again what we can offer you.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi there. I posted a few months ago asking about the best way to renew 2 linked contacts at the same time, and also getting a phone for one of them. It was too early to renew with deals at that point, but now I am eligible fire some offers I think. @toby answered last time and kindly sent me an offer. Would you, it another o2 expert, be willing to see what's on offer for me now? Here is my original message:
-------
I've got a contract with 2 Sims (one for me, one for my son) and it's now possible to renew. I have a discount for taking a second sim under the partner contract deal. If I renew, what's the best deal I can get, because I don't want to lose the discount I'm getting? I am also maybe interested in a new phone is that makes any difference. I'd appreciate some advice on the best way to approach this. I need around 10gb, my son is fine with 1gb data per month.
edit o2_Tobias: thread transferred from https://hilfe.o2online.de/english-o2-community-mobile-43/contract-renewal-546005 to here
Hi @bmot,
nice that you come back here to our English community in order to ask for a good offer for your 2 contracts.
Last time, I sent you an offer for the tariff “o2 Free M Boost” with 40 GB data-volume (for -717) and for the tariff “o2 Free S Boost Plus” with 10 GB data-volume (for -298).
Is this the data-volume you are looking forward to this time?
Would you like to order a new phone also?
If you have not done so, please check also your possibilities online under Vertragsverlängerung (contract extension) .
I look forward to your reply.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi @o2_Tobias thanks for replying once again. The tariff you offered before, as I said, is not what I’m looking for. 10gb for me and 1gb for my son is fine. However I am still interested in a phone, maybe a pixel 4a or similar.
The main reason I contacted the community is that I don’t know how to renew them both at the same time - I can only do each separately and I think this may lead me to miss out on a combo offer.
id be happy to receive any further offers you think would suit me, and I was told I am now eligible for better offers than when I last contacted you so look forward to see what’s on offer now
Dear @bmot ,
I have sent you one and two offers for your two phone numbers to the email address we have on file. I can't offer you a tariff with 1 GB data volume for your son - our smallest tariff has 3 GB, but I can't select it there.
Please note, after using up your inclusive data volume the upload/download speed will be reduced to 32 kBit/s.
There are no tariff change fees for you! Do you like some of my offers?
If you like an offer, you can order it directly via the link in the email, just click on the button in the email "Vertrag verlängern".
In accordance with the transparency regulation, I would like to draw your attention to our product information sheets, which you can download at www.o2.de/produktinformationsblatt. There you will find all product details listed again (without discounts).
Kind regards,
Andrea
@o2_Andrea thanks for the offers. I like that you included the pixel 4a, but for some reason the tariff (o2 s boost plus) Is 24,49 when I can get it for 14,99 through the o2 app (Vertragsverlängerung). But in the app I can’t choose the Pixel phone. It would be great if you could send me an offer with the tariff at the price in the app, plus the Pixel phone. I could then get the same tariff without phone for my son and I’d be happy with that.
thanks Andrea, I look forward to your offer
Dear @bmot ,
sometimes the app offers better conditions than we can do. I have sent you our best possible offers. But I’ll take a look, what I can offer to you for your Number xxx717 with the google pixel 4a.
But what you can do is to order the contract extension with the higher discount in the app and then buy the phone separately if you don't like my offer. Wether you have problems with ordering the phone, I can order it separately.
The o2 Free S Boost Plus is a tariff we only offer in contract extinktions. New contracts can’t choose this tariff, so with a new contract für your son, you have to decide whether you want to use either 6 (o2 Free S Boost) or 20 GB (o2 Free M). I ‘ll send you two more offers.
In accordance with the transparency regulation, I would like to draw your attention to our product information sheets, which you can download at www.o2.de/produktinformationsblatt. There you will find all product details listed again (without discounts).
Kind regards,
Andrea
Thanks for the offer. It's good, but there was a misunderstanding: I already have 2 contracts, and it want to extend both of them. The number you quoted is my son's, the other one ending in 298 is mine, and I want to add the phone to this contract. Does that make a difference? If after this information I still have to buy the phone separately where do I go to but it and what is the best price I can get?
Thanks again
I want to clarify my last reply, so there can be no confusion or misunderstanding this time:
- The number ending in 298 is my number, and I would like to extend the contract and get a pixel 4a phone with the myhandy contract. Ideally 10 or 20gb, and under 20€
- the other number is my son’s, and is already active and I want to renew this contract too. Under 20€ too
- the 17,99€ plan looked good but you said it is only available when renewing online
- the pixel phone is not available when I try to renew my contract online. It is available from the website but I can’t renew my contract, i can only take out a myhandy contract with no special offers, or add it to a new contract (which I don’t need as I have 2 already)
- the offer you sent was for a phone with my son’s number, I want to add the phone to my renewed contract. I also want to renew his contract. The phone price was the same as normally buying on the website, and the tariff price was a lot higher than renewing online with the same tariff. It makes no sense why.
- i was hoping that renewing 2 contracts and buying a new phone would give me an improved offer
Its frustrating because I know there are better offers on either the contract or the phone, but I can’t find how to achieve both. As per my original question, I also can’t find a way to renew both contracts simultaneously, only as separate orders. Perhaps that’s not important, I don’t know.
Now that I’ve been fully clear can you please, if you can, see if it’s possible to send me 2x 17,99 contracts (10gb or higher) and a pixel4a contract (13,50 or lower)
thank you
Hello again, I was sent some offers by email today for o2 Partnerkarte, was that you? Thank you for the offers. However reading the details, it seems these are extra contracts. They do not replace my existing contracts. So i would end up with 4 contracts for 2 people if I took up both of the offers. Was this intended?
Dear @bmot ,
I thought you ment that you wanted to have another additional contract for your son with similar data volume as the other offer. That was probably a misunderstanding. You can simply ignore the offer as long as you don't click on accept anywhere - nothing happens.
Yes, it's true that you would have gotten another contract with it.
Thank you very much for your detailed explanations. I will try to implement them again in a new offer as close as possible to your ideas.
I have sent you the best possible offers once, but I cannot reach your desired price of 17,99 Euro. I am sorry.
Kind regards,
Andrea
That's fantastic, thank you. I'll check through them as soon as I can, but from first looks your managed to send a really nice offer. Thanks for your patience in answering and sending me offers.
Dear @bmot ,
I am very pleased that you liked the offers!
I have extended your contracts by 24 months. The new contract periods start today and end on 11.11.2022. The cancellation period is again at least 3 months before the end of the contract.
I will change your tariffs to tomorrow (13.11.2020). I will also do the tariff changes free of charge for you.
I also ordered you the cell phone.
A small info: there is a credit check after the order for the purchase of the cell phone.
Your contract period for the cell phone is 24 months. The MyHandy contract ends automatically, you do not have to cancel it.
The deposit will be debited with the first monthly installment. You also pay shipping costs.
The shipping of the cell phone should take 3-5 working days.
Contract extensions and tariff changes will be confirmed to you by e-mail tomorrow. Attached to these e-mails you will find, among other things, a cancellation policy. So if you decide to change your mind after all, that is no problem. The contract extensions and tariff changes can be cancelled within 14 days.
Have fun with your new tariffs!
Kind regards,
Andrea
Dear @bmot ,
there were problems between November 12th and 14th when booking discounts for contract extensions. The error has been recognized in the meantime and should also be corrected automatically. Therefore, nothing further needs to be done if your contract is affected.
Kind regards,
Andrea
Hi @o2_Andrea I was just about to contact you about this. I have also got a problem with the phone: I received a confirmation email and Auftragsnummer, but when I go to check the status of the delivery it says nothing can be found with this information. I will try calling, but if you could also check the phone order is still in the system, and the discounts are Applied, I would be really appreciative.
thanks for your assistance so far, and for the contract extension offers
