Regarding cancellation of my prepaid sim card

Hi. I want to deactivate my o2 prepaid sim card. I looked for a contact email ID, but there was nothing available.

In the community, I saw a link for a form: http://static2.o2.de/blob/11417674/v=7/Binary/prepaid-guthabenauszahlung.pdf .

I’m not sure if I should use the same form, because I just want to deactivate my number, I don’t want to get a refund of my sim credit. Please help me out and thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use that form. Or just cut up the SIM card.

Hi @lady345,
welcome to our community.
It's a pity that you want to leave us :disappointed: Is there anything we can do to make you change your mind?
If you are sure about your decision and you still have credit on your SIM card, use the form you linked.
If you have no more credit and you wish to deactivate the SIM card, send us your request by mail to the address on the form or at our contact page.
Kind regards
Larissa

Dear @o2_Larissa,

Thank you for this information.

I have printed the form and sent it to the address mentioned it post.

But I did not yet receive any conformation of the receipt for my cancellation request.

Please let me know if I should do anything else from side.

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards

@lady345
Thank you for your message.
You don't have to do anything else for now.
Please be patient, our colleagues need
a few days to process your cancellation request.

Best Regards.

You should receive a confirmation of the payment of your credit via email once the cancellation has been received and the SIM card has been deactivated.

Can you log into Mein o2 with the mobile phone number?
If so, then click on the following link: https://www.o2online.de/ecare-prepaid/auf-ab-buchungen
If the cancellation has been received and the credit is paid out, you will see the last entry “Abbuchung wegen Kündigung” ("Debit due to cancellation") and the credit that will be paid out. You can also see the date there. It will then take (maybe) 2-4 weeks for the money to appear in your bank account.
If you are shown there that the “Einzelverbindungsnachweis” (detailed billing) must be activated so that you can see details, then click on the following link, confirm the activation with a tick beside “Einzelverbindungsnachweis gewünscht” and confirm the change with "Speichern":https://www.o2online.de/ecare-prepaid/evn-einstellen

After that go back to the first link and check it again.
