Hello,

Prepaid O2 German simcard:

can anyone help me in knowing how and which tarif do I need to subscribe to when travelling to other EU countries outside Germany.

I have noticed that whenever I am travelling to other countries like Austria,Netherlands etc i do receive a msg from O2 that its in roaming but then all the main balance money is deducted when i use internet and becomes zero and after that my already subscribed telephone & internet pack doesnot work.

Could you tell me what packs do I need to use to make the internet work with already purchased internet packs from Germany?

Book a smartphone option such as my Prepaid S or L. You can also use this in EU countries.

I always do that but still it doesnot work.I am just wondering why is it like that.Data roaming option in iphone should be turned on right?

APN currently selected is 5g auto.

do i need to change to LTE or 5G on?

This is not the APN, you can find it under mobile data.

APN is mentioned as Internet now.Should I change to something else?

yes, *pinternet.interkom.de*

Just to be sure so i should replace Internet with pinternet.interkom.de?

If you are in EU countries, in Germany it doesn't matter what is stored as APN.

If your credit for internet use in another EU country has been used up, this can only have happened if you had not booked a data package. Was that possibly the cause?

The APN should always be "internet" so it always works.

@o2_Giulia APN was always internet and always I had subscription to smartphone telephony and internet packs still when i travel outside germany the internet pack doesnot work.

Maybe your mobile data is blocked abroad. Wait again for an o2 employee.

How can i resolve if my o2number blocked for other countries?

Your SIM card is not blocked for use abroad, so everything looks fine. With the o2 Prepaid S you can use the Internet in other EU countries just like you would at home.

Please note that to use the Internet abroad, roaming must also be activated on your cell phone.
