Hi,

I have triggered the release for my phone number 0176***910 to Aldi talk. But today I got response from Aldi talk that my last name does not match with the data. My last name is XXXXX, and as per O2 its XXXXX. Kindly help me resolve the issue so that my phone number portability works fine.

You can contact the o2-Customer Service to correct the false surname. But maybe they decline.

Then you can try to change the owner of the prepaid number: https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/besitzerwechsel-o2-prepaid

 

Or is it possible to start the porting at Alditalk with your “wrong” surname? That would be the easiest way.

I had a look at the website of alditalk.

There is a form for porting a number. (“Rufnummernmitnahme zu ALDI TALK”)

There you can declare your name as its save at o2 (“ANGABEN ZUM ABGEBENDEN ANBIETER UND ZU DEN DORT HINTERLEGTEN DATEN”)

 

Thats definetly the easiest way

I have sent a letter by post to O2, to get it corrected. Lets see how they respond. But I will update it here once I get the response. Thanks for the helping hand.
