I would like my number to be released as I want to switch to Vodafone. Can you please tell me how this is done and if my number can be released immediately?

Is there any way to reduce the term or maybe reduce my tarrif to a very basic amount? 

If I can change to O2 prepaid, that would be the best.

unfortunately there is no chance to downgrade the tariff without extending it for another 24 month.

Changing to prepaid is even impossible. Please remember the cancellation request online. The contract has to be cancelled until May 16th 2022 at the latest.
