Hi Everyone,

Last month 27th of November i ordered a phone with a plan and i received it on the 29th. I have it activated via the Hotline same day. So until today the simcard that they sent me is not yet activated so I cannot call, text and surf. I have not reload my prepaid sim yet because I am waiting patiently and the problem is, it’s been 5 or 6 days already and still the sim card is not yet activated, still no Service( The simcard O2 team). One more thing, before i got into my last order, I have previously ordered and cancelled 2 plans. So I also received another 2 simcards. This made me confused more since i cancelled those already. I hope someone here in the community could assist me or something.

Thanks for your help. I’ve just tried it now and it seems there is a problem with their site at the moment. I cannot log in. I‘ve tried 10x already. It seems that O2 live chat is down. :(

Did you restart the mobile after activating the SIM card? I’m asking because sometimes customers put in the SIM card and wait for a signal but it won’t start automatically.

If you already restarted the phone what error message is shown on your display?

I did restart the phone many times and the error message shown " WAITING FOR ACTIVATION". I'm just wondering that it would really take along time for activating a sim-card, I thought before that it's just a window for things to process in that span of time but won't really took 7 days or more, normally it would only take 24-48hrs for it to fully activated but i am new here in Germany so maybe it's different here and maybe because I take with me my old number from a different Network that would maybe take really sometime to process.

"Conact your carrier if this problem continues to occur" that the error warning also.

I send an error ticket to my collegues to analyse what happend. The activation should have been successful.

@o2_Manga Bro could I share here a little bit of my details so that it would be more faster to resolve my problem and maybe your Colleague could help me more quicker. My Bday is xxx. I tried O2 chat but it‘s not available, all possible ways of contact i already tried, except calling the hotline is not accessible. I can‘t call the Hotline because I have already cancelled my Plan in the other network.

I already put in all information you provided. Unfortunately we can’t speed up the process it takes up to 48 hours until the problem is solved. Sorry :frowning2:

Hi Guys,

 

I’ve just called the costumer support today and perfectly the guy resolve my problem immediately. So, he just told me that the simcard i am using was the one who got cancelled and told me to insert the other simcard that i received with number… and works perfectly fine now!! Unfortunately, I wasn‘t able to get his name because we finished talking in a span of 2-3 minutes only.
