Phones bought from o2, are simlocked or not?

Hi,

I am thinking to buy a phone from o2 with a contract.

However, i would like to know if this phone (google, iPhone etc) is sim-locked or not.

Could you please let me know?

I am still between Google Pixel 9 and 16 Pro max :D just not yet

Yes maybe time will also reveal whether the iPhone 16 will still get more AI-functions also within the EU.
