Phone stolen, don't speak German

My phone was stolen.

I tried calling 089 78 79 79 40 0  to report it, but the automated assistant assumes I speak German.  I do not.

The O2 shop at milaneo was also completely shut today.  I tried going there first.

There’s no text or video support options available today.

I’m lost.

Please help.

You can block the SIM yourself in the app or the customer portal. You can also order a new SIM whilst you are there as well.

I moved your post to the approriate English section.

If your phone has a screen lock and your SIM card has a PIN you don’t need to worry about abuse of your contract.

If you have set up a Mein o2 account where you can take a look at your bills, you can order a replacement SIM card there.

If you don’t have a phone insurance with o2, there is nothing o2 can do for you even if you purchased it at o2.

If it is an iPhone or an Android phone check the appropriate find my phone service, where you can try to locate it or issue a command to delete your data.

Vielen dank / thank you both very much!

When I try to order another sim card, I’m told:

Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.

It’s not very … descriptive.

Hi @anothercustomer

welcome to our English Community. Nice to meet you here.

I regret that your phone was stolen.

As I see, you managed already to organize an exchanging sim-card.

Is therefore everything clarified already?

If you wish to get a new offer for a phone together with an extension of your contract, just let us know.

You also have the possibility to check online for an offer:

Loving greetings,

Tobias
