Passport Information while register

Hello, I have an issue about my Passport Information. When I active my simcard, I was supposed to use the Identity Application, but I forgot and directly used Safari site to capture and send my passport’s photo to you. After that also make a video call to your team to activ my Sim. I really want to know is there a chance that my Passport Information can be stollen ? I know that it’s my mistake and I really worry about it. So please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you!!

Hello @Irinavalentin120 ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

Using a browser itself doesn’t say anything about any form of information being stolen. I assume that all of this was part of the normal identification process for your prepaidcard, or what exactly do you mean that you used Safari to capture your passport?

That is exactly I did, I captured my Passport by Safari 😔, and then, using Safari to call too.

Hello @Irinavalentin120 using a normal browser is not as secure as the Identity Application and also depends on the internet security you employ. Did you then send your passport photo via E-mail to us?
