I have a quick question. Last week someone called me from O2 trying to convince me to sign up for another 2 years as my first 2 years about to end. I have mobile, landline, DSL and tv with O2.

so they gave me a deal and then we agreed. They read out like a 15 min statement all in German - which they know I can’t understand at all. I had to agree to this by saying “Ja” at times. This was for them to make sure they can hold me accountable. Yesterday I got a call saying they made a mistake and the deal is no longer on. I said it’s not really my problem just send the phone and let the new contract go live. They said no deal and they suggested I should buy the phone Black Friday or just keep continue with my current contract without a new phone. Didn’t bother to disclose how much would the new contract cost, perhaps they didn’t think I can afford it. I asked the guy to put me through to the manager so I can talk to her/him. The guy said he will first ask the manager and will call me back. He called me back some time later but had no luck to convince the manager to keep up O2’s part of the deal. He also said if I want to talk to the manager I have to call - for whatever reason the manager didn’t feel to put in the effort to give me a curtesy call to explain the situation. Today I called back but the number I was given by the agent if I want to talk to the manager. The person who answered the phone. Oils not speak English - not even one word - but I managed to figure with my very broken German that there was nobody who could speak any English to help me.
So, all I’m asking for O2 to honour their part of the deal.

Hi @pete_P

welcome to our English Community.

Nice that you like to extend your contract. I regret that our hotline did not offer any solution for you.

Can you give me some more details about the deal?

How much data-volume do you like to have?

And which phone was interesting for you?

What was the end-price?

We like to check what we can offer you and you will receive an e-mail from us.

I look forward to your reply.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Thank you for coming back to me.

I have 20GB data and I am a business customer with DSL, landline and TV. The offer from you guys was the same data and modalities - except the mobile data was bumped up to 300mb/s - with an iPhone 13 Pro (128GB). For all of that you wanted to charge somewhere around EUR120 monthly. Cancelling ut my current contract and starting with the new immediately. All of the conversation was recorded of course so you should have it somewhere in the system.

Best regards,

p

Hi @pete_P

thanks for your details.

Can you still mention the colour of your iPhone 13 Pro, 128 GB?

Then, you will get an offer by e-mail in the next days.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Graphit.

thank you Tobias.

Hi @pete_P

thanks for your reply.

I have just sent an offer by e-mail to you. The offer includes the tariff “o2 Free M” (new version with 5G) together with the iPhone 13 Pro 128 GB in graphit.

Together with your DSL-tariff, you have a basic fee of altogether 109,47 € (prepayment of 1 € and 4,99 € delivery fee for the phone).

I hope the offer is interesting for you.

Pursuant to the decree of transparency I need to inform you about our tariff leaflets which you can download here: http://g.o2.de/travo. There you'll find all details of the product listed.

If you like to accept the offer, just click on the button “Vertrag verlängern” in the e-mail and follow the steps.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi Tobia,

Thank you very much this is a great offer to be fair.

I just wanted you to confirm this includes DSL also as I can’t really see it anywhere mentioned in the listing - also, all of it is in German so I can't really understand.

So I just want to know in summary that I have landline, DSL (unchanged from what I currently have), mobile service with the IPhone 13 Pro and the TV (not end of the word if tv not included tho). Just can you please confirm before I go and sign?

Thank you again.

Best regards,

p

Hi @pete_P

thanks for your reply.

The offer that you received by e-mail does not include DSL. This offer is only for your mobile phone contract including the iPhone 13 Pro 128 GB in graphit.

The fee for the DSL-contract including “o2 TV L special” comes on top. No change will be done for your DSL-contract. Just let me know if you like to get also an offer for your DSL-contract.

As you have already o2 TV on your DSL-contract, I did not offer you o2 TV for your mobile phone contract.

But of course, it is possible that you order o2 TV for your mobile phone contract. Just have a look here: o2 TV offers

I hope I could answer all your questions.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

I am now copmletley confused and I am really sorry for being so simple minded.

You have said in your message yesterday (quote): “Together with your DSL-tariff, you have a basic fee of altogether 109,47 € (prepayment of 1 € and 4,99 € delivery fee for the phone).

So, in summary if I sign the contract you sent me yesterday I will have a monthly payment of 109,47 € that includes: landline, DSL (unchanged from what I currently have), mobile service with the iPhone 13 Pro and the TV. No other monthly charges. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Thank you.

Best regards,

p

Hi @pete_P

oh, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I thought you ment the offer that you received by e-mail.

Sure, together with DSL and o2 TV L special, you are at 109, 47 €. That´s correct.

Thanks for accepting my offer.

I hope the tariff-change was already successful.

I hope that you get your phone also soon.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Tobias,

Thank you very much for confirming.

You are very kind and I have to say that my experience dealing with you was absolutely top notch. O2 should be very proud to have you.

Is there a place where I can put in a good word for you please?

Best regards,

p
