o2 homespot too slow


Dear All,

 

I live in Erlangen 91054, and bought a contract, O2 homespot M. However I can only get max 15 mgbyte. Normaly it is supposed to be 50. But even 15 drops sometimes to 2-5 which makes gaming and streaming impossible.

I also have a phone contract with o2, when I check on my mobile phone, the speed is the same

Do you have and suggestions?

English translation:

Telephoning and surfing may not work properly. The reason is either an overload situation, i.e. too many mobile phone users at the same time in a certain area. Or this is another fault (e.g. a hardware part on the base station is defective). We are already working on a solution and ask for your understanding.

Update at 13:09 (half-hourly update). Recently reported faults may not yet be displayed.

But then, roundly when will this problem fixed. I can also see that the 5g router of O2 is not working in my area. 

Why I am not informed about that problem when I make the contract?

and most importantly when it will be solved?

unfortunately, we cannot make any statements about the end point of the disruption. As in the posts I linked, you can post a fault in the live check and then you will receive a message from o2 when the fault has been rectified.

The network coverage maps are publicly available to everyone. This means that all customers or potential customers can independently check the network coverage for every location in Germany accordingly. When concluding a contract online or by phone, there is also a 14-day cancellation period. So if you don't like the connection after signing the contract, you still have the right to cancel.
