Hello,

I currently have 4 O2 sim-cards under my contract for my family members. Today, o2 called one of my family members, who doesn’t speak German. They’ve said something about that I'd be informed via email about new tariff options or something like this. The details were unclear to them as they don’t speak German.

Subsequently, I received 14 (!) emails from O2, all of which implied that I had initiated multiple new orders and changes to my tariffs.

These emails are ambiguous and difficult to decipher, especially with multiple attached PDFs, some containing more than five documents in a single email. From what I've been able to gather, it seems a few of my tariffs have been altered, and my contract has been extended for an next two years under these new terms.

This really looks like a fraud by o2. It appears that my monthly cost will now increase significantly (40-50 EUR per month, which is almost 100% increase), and the data allocation on some of my tariffs will reduce drastically, offering only 2-4 GB instead of the previous 15 GB.

I'd like to understand how an order could be made under my name without my explicit consent or even talking to me?

@Insomniac1337. If it happened like that (which I unfortunately believe it did), that's quite a piece. certainly a great call center commissioned by o2. I hope the whole process isn't 14 days old yet. You can process everything back within. (Widerruf) You must revoke all contract changes by email here. We can certainly support you here in the community so that everything is safely back to the way it was. Old prices and terms.

Ok, On which was the call and contract switch. How many mobile contracts was now changed. All four? Write the mobile number (only the last three digits here)

Hello @Insomniac1337,

welcome to our community. 😊

Without your consent it shouldn’t be possible to change contracts, except everone knows your four digit personal identification number or “Mein o2” (My o2)  logins. I’m sorry if this wasn’t the case.

First of all, I can say that you can make use of the withdrawal period within 14 days, because this happened only a few days ago. In the emails you mentioned there are several documents and also a pdf-file called “Widerrufsbelehrung”. This is the form to withdrawal all the changes that have been made. Unfortunately it’s only in german, but we can help you with this form if you need support.

Best regards,

Michi

@Insomniac1337 Have you send the Widerrufs paper signed by you for every mobile number to widerruf@cc.o2online.de ? Please use for every mobile number a extra email send with the signed papers.

Hello,

Thanks everyone for your help! I've visited an O2 shop yesterday and they helped me to fill out the Widerrufsbelehrung. They now said I'll need to wait up to 14 days.

Thanks again!

@Insomniac1337 How was the cancellation (Widerruf) sent and by whom? And when was the contract change (day) carried out? Please ask here again in the middle of the week whether the Widerruf of all contract changes has been received by o2.

Very nice @Insomniac1337, i hope everything is fine now. 🙂
