number porting from vodafone to o2

hello i have requested for number porting from vodafone to o2, even i got the confirmation from vodafone side. I got the confirmation from o2 side and they gave a date of change 2nd of july (supposed to be today). My vodafone network is gone but still not yet received to o2. My question is how to know whether number is ported or not and will i get a new sim card or will it get merged with existing sim card.

One more i have give for number porting this means my existing o2 number will be removed and for that vodafone number will be replaced? Am in right?

How review the status of porting?

Mein O2 application will show anything?
