It is very unclear what should be done.

I just started a contract with O2 and as I finished the portability request, a warning told me that I should tell Vodaphone.

But how do I do this?
Where do I do this?
Shouldn't this have been said to me BEFORE I finished the procedure?

Would appreciate help.

Which message did you get from us? Was it maybe a missing opt-in to release your phone number into your new o2 tariff?

If that’s what the warning contained, you just need to tell Vodafone to set the “opt-in” in your contract.
