Not receiving any SMS

Hi.

I am not to be able to receive SMS on my iPhone for the past few months. I can send SMS OK however. 

This is a problem with OTP codes particularly from abroad.

I have tried all the usual suggestions to resolve this,

So yes - I use multicard. I had previously tried adjusting the SMS settings in the portal and it had not worked. But I think I did not leave it long enough as when I tried it again and waited some time it started working again.

I think it is OK now.

    Do you use a multicard? If so, did you check the settings. Maybe receipt of Text messages is on a diffent card than the incoming calls?

    Hi, 

     

    I just converted my SIM card to eSim. I am not receiving messages. I have iPhone 13 Pro. Is there something I need to change in settings?

    Hello @Mo_Priya ,

    that should not be affecting receiving SMS directly. Are you using several Multicards with your contract? In that case the SMS might instead be routed to a different card now and that’s why you didn’t get any on the eSIM.

    Hello,

     

    Yes I fixed this. I changed the SMS receipt to eSim instead of physical sim. Now it works fine. Thank you.
