Hi,

I need help canceling my “Flex” contract,  seems like nobody knows what is the procedure to cancel a contract. I went to several stores, called the hotline and everybody gave me a different version on how to do it.

I ended up following the online instructions.  I notified 1 month in advanced that I wanted to end my contract, I sent a letter to O2 offices using this template (o2online.de/dokumente/faxvorlage-kuendigung-mobilfunkvertrag)  then waited for the last receipt and send the money via bank transfer and yet I’m still getting bills.

I opted the Flex option because it was supposed to be flexible and easy to cancel but it seems that his has no end, I already have months out of Germany.

Please help

Hi @clientoo,

welcome to the o2 community!

I’m sorry to hear that things didn’t work as smoothly as they should regarding the cancellation of your contract.

So I guess it’s appropriate to start with the most important bit of information:
You contract is now cancelled. :ballot_box_with_check:

You received a text message in November that asked you to pay the next-to-last bill which you did.

The current bill from 13th of November is your final bill (“Abschlussrechnung”). Unfortunately, the amount of that bill could not be debited from your account, probably because, as you wrote, you’ve been out of Germany for a while and your German bank account may have been closed.

So there’s just one thing left to do for you before your contract is successfully closed:

Please transfer the outstanding sum (33,62 EUR total) to the Telefonica/o2 bank account, you can find the bank details at the bottom of every o2 bill.

Also, please make absolutely sure to include your account number (60…….) as reason for payment so that your account can be credited with the sum you transferred.

By doing so, you’ll have payed the last bill and your contract is officially closed.

Hope this clears things up,
best regards,
Jan.
