name is mispelled wrong


Hello. My name is mispelled on my documents when i bought my phone few days ago including in the official receipt. And for sure i will also be receiving receipts on my monthly payment with my name spelled incorrectly. I need my receipts for my tax refund. What should i do.  Need to change it before my first monthly payment.

Could you already clarify your issue concerning the misspelling of your name?

If not, just send us a copy of your ID-card and ask to change your name accordingly.

Hello O2 team. I updated/change the spelling of my name in the app because when bought my phone, i didnt notice that they spelled my name incorrectly and i also visited a nearby o2 store to update and correct my name and they said that my name is already updated on the system. My question is will i receive a receipt with my correct name on my next billing or should i still send an email with supporting documents etc? I need a receipt with my correct name on it. Hoping for you fast reply

Nice that you follow up on your issue concerning the spelling of your name.

Do you see the correction already in the “Mein o2-App” under personal details (Meine Daten)?

If this is the case, you will see your correct name in the next invoice as well.

@o2_Tobias yes it has already been corrected in the app. Thank you for your fast reply. I am really hoping to get a receipt with my correct name on it because i need it for my tax return. Thank you again

I do not think that there will be a problem with your tax return as only the first and last name was in the wrong order.

@o2_Tobias my first name has a missing a letter (Ronnel) thus any other document that i will present have double L (Ronnell) that is why i am troubled with it. Thanks for your reply. Really do hope that my next receipt is okay.

yes, sure. This little fault is already corrected. :thumbsup:  

All invoices that were made after the correction will show your correct name.
