Dear Community, 

I have recently signed an online contract with O2 with the following options: 

  • iphone 13 pro
  • Free unlimited basic

As for the monthly payment of the cellphone (49 euros), it has not yet been charged on my bank account (it was due on the 23rd of October). I’ve checked through my O2 website and effectively the IBAN is correct and I’ve selected the “direct debit” payment option. 

I’ve already been charged with shipping costs and the 5 euros for shipping have been taken from my account on the 22nd of October, as written on the contract. 

 

Do you know why the MyHandy debit is taking so long? It has already been issued and it is only my bank that is taking long?

I regret that the direct debitting was not made as announced. 

Did we debit the 1st rate meanwhile?

This was the first rate. That’s why I was worried that something during the online procedure went wrong. 

 

In any case, the rate has been charged on my account a couple of days ago. Therefore, lesson learned: be patient!

 

For future readers: I payed the initial sum as indicated in the contract within the specified periods and I was already charged with shipping costs (therefore, I was sure that my bank coordinates were ok).

Hello, please I need help to repay my monthly phone payment for this month. O2 was in my bank account to deduct this month’s payment but I was not having enough balance as at on the 14th of this month, please can it be deducted again now that I have enough money in my account or how do I repay now?


Hello @zaak1, welcome to our o2 community:-)

If, for whatever reason, the deuduction of a monthly payment fails you have the possibility to transfer the monthly payment with your customer number as “Verwedungszweck”. You should also recieve informaiton with all necessary data how much and where to transfer if a payment failed :-)
