Mobile phone contract cancellation

I have applied a mobile phone contract in Germany last January 2023 but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I have decided to move out of Germany permanently due to termination of employment. How can I cancel my postpaid plan? Can I send it thru email or do I need to send it by post? What if my flight will be a week from now? I don’t have my deregistration certificate yet.

Confirmation of deregistration from your previous place of residence

the registration certificate for your new place of residence abroad / as an alternative to the registration certificate, confirmation from your employer or landlord

(e.g. employment contract, rental agreement)

I don’t have yet my deregistration confirmation yet. Can I send the necessary documents if I am not in Germany anymore? Thru DHL post perhaps.

How long they usually answer here in the community? i am worried because my flight will be next week. I did not have a chance to notify in advance since this is an unforeseen circumstance.

You can send the documents by post as soon as you have them.
