Hello! 

I received a monthly bill for my mobile contract as a direct debit request to my bank app, but accidently missed to confirm the payment instantly.

Today I received a message from the bank that this direct debit request has expired.

I paid the invoice manually. Is that OK? Or do I need to do something else? And what will be the consequences?

Hello, yes that is no problem. Don't worry you did everything right. It can only be that o2 will charge you a small fee in the next bill for returning the direct debit.

Yes it was correct to do the payment manually. A chargeback fee of 4 euros will be added to your next bill because the debit was returned.
