Hello, is there a way to get sms notification about missed calls when the mobile was off?

So if someone calls my number while its off, I get sms whenever i turn on my mobile that someone called me.

I use iPhone 11.

Hi @Mr.tam

welcome to our English Community.

Thanks for your request.

Of course, it is possible for you to get an info-SMS about missed calls.

In order to activate this service for you, I just need some more details from you. Therefore, you will receive in the next minutes a private message from @o2_Support. Please reply there to my message.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Thanks a lot, i will be waiting for your email :)

Wow that was fast, the service already activated, thanks a lot for the quick response. 🙂

Hi @Mr.tam

thanks for your details under @o2_Support and thanks for marking my message as solution.

I have just activated the service “info-SMS” for you now.

Please switch off your device and switch it on again.

As confirmation, you received an SMS-message.

I hope you will now receive info-SMS for missed calls.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

I also need to activate missed call alerts. Unfortunatepy i couldn't find any information online. Can you please help me out?

Hallo @abbas110,

I have activated the info-SMS service for your mobile phone. You should have received the confirmation via text message.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

I also need to activate missed call alerts. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information online. Can you please help me out?

Dear @navdar ,

welcome to our communty. 🦋

I activated the call notification for you. You also received an SMS to notify you of this.

Kind regards,

Andrea

Hello,

I also need to activate this option for both my numbers ( I have two SIM cards on the same phone).

I also would like to activate my „answering machine“ or voicemail for my business number.

Can you pls help?

Thank you

Hello @Vpkln,

welcome to our o2 Community 😊

I have activated the missed call message for your phone number. The visual voicemail service is already activated, is it still not working?

Best regards

Giulia

Hi Giulia,

the SMS is working only for my private number (ending in 969) For this one I also do not want any voicemail.

For my business number it is still not activated. I do not want to give here my number, can you find it? Or could you please contact me via phone or email?

The employees from the flagship store in Cologne have not been able to help me so far and it is quite urgent.

For the business number the voicemail is working, I activated on Monday.

I would really appreciate your help.

valeria

Hello @Vpkln,

sorry, I thought the 969 was supposed to be your business number. The voicemail service for this number was already activated, so you want me to deactivate it?

Unfortunately we cannot arrange callbacks or send emails. If you have another business/company contract as well, you can contact our business service on 0800 22 111 22 or via our business chat. They should be English speaking as well. Unfortunately we don’t have access to these business contracts.

Best regards

Giulia

Hi!

it looks like it is now working.

Yes, could you pls deactivate the voicemail for 696?

Thank you!

valeria

Hello @Vpkln,

the VVM is now deactivated, a confirmation was sent to you by text message.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards and have a nice weekend 😊

Giulia

Hello Giulia,

Thanks, it worked. I also have some other problems, for example it looks like my sms are not sent.

I get error notifications.

Could you please help me or what can I do?

Also even though my old numbers have been transferred on the 27th of October to O2, in the settings the information about the sim cards still shows the “old” O2 numbers and not my actual active numbers.

Fopr your info, I do not have any business contract, just two sim cards:

  • ends in 696 regular sim crad - I use it privately
  • ends in 282 esim - I use it for business

I am using both numbers on an Iphone13, also purchased from O2.

It would be great if you could help me or referr me to the right persons.

Thank you!

Valeria

Hello @Vpkln,

have you rebooted the iPhone after the numbers were exchanged? The new numbers should be shown in the settings then.

Do you have the problem with both numbers? Can you receive text messages?

What is the exact error message that you get?

Best regards

Giulia

I have rebooted the phone several times. Today as well.

Unluckily in the settings the numbers are still wrong. I tried to change them manually, it doesn’t work.

Regarding SMS, next to them appears “nicht zugestellt” with a red exclamation mark.

I also get notifications that the sending is “fehlgeschlagen”.

Hello @Vpkln,

you should be able to change the phone numbers at the top the settings (under Apple ID). Maybe you have stored the old numbers there still?

Thist probably also solves the problems with the text messages.

Best regards

Giulia

I tried many times. The new numbers won’t be stored in the settings…

Reebooted the phone, installed the update...nothing.

Hello @Vpkln,

I have found a thread with a similar problem, unfortunately in German:

Can you try resetting the network settings as described in the solution?

Best regards

Giulia

It’s no problem, I speak German.

Anyhow I called the Apple support and could finally solve the problem.

Thank you!

Hello @Vpkln,

I'm glad you were able to find a solution. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards

Giulia

Hello again,

before sometime i asked for info-SMS and you activated it for me but then i changed my number and the info-SMS is not active anymore.

Will you please activate it for me.

Many thanks,

Tarek

Hello @Mr.tam,
