Hello @Altonny , welcome to our Community 💙

I’m sorry for what happened regarding the new Simcard.

After the conversation with the call agent, have you recieved an e-mail from us? All contracts made with us online or through the hotline/service chat will trigger an e-mail dispatch stating the conditions of the contract. Did you get something like this?

You can challenge the unwanted contract by sending us a “Vertragsanzweiflung” (contract challenge). There is a standard form for this, which i have linked. It is only available in German, so if you need help translating it or filling it in please let us know. The form also states where to send it.

Alternatively you can use the online contact form to submit it.

Kind regards, Rebecca

Hello @Altonny ,

Have you been able to get any new information regarding the unwanted contract? Perhaps have you sent in the “Vertragsanzweiflung” already?

If you still need support, be sure to let us know.

Kind regards, Rebecca

Hi- I had a similar experience recently. I bought an O2 prepaid SIM card from a store and the saleswoman offered it for 9.99 per month. I repeatedly asked her if this is going to be 9.99 for all subsequent months and she confirmed. The 1 month ended today and now I can’t find that tariff on the website. I even registered for direct debit and recharged with 10 EUR but still the plan isn’t getting active for this month. After much struggle on O2’s not very organised website, I figured that 9.99 was the entry price and subsequent price is 19.99. I did not want to sign up for such an expensive monthly tariff ( which I has also clarified to the saleswoman) but seems like I was scammed to sign up for one. Now the only 2 options I have is either leave o2 and change my registered number everywhere or deal with this high cost per month.

I must say this is highly unethical business practices and O2 should really find a way to deal with this in a more systematic manner.

Hello @Amandeep21891, nice to welcome you to our Community 😊

From what you wrote i take it you have bought a prepaid SIM card, right?

There is a prepaid tariff for 9,99 €/month. It’s called o2 my Prepaid S and you should be able to book it in Mein o2 at Tarife und Optionen if the credit balance on your card is high enough. If you’re not sure how to check your balance or how to book an option we have two helpful articles here in our community:

If you have any further questions, please let us know 🙂

Kind regards, Rebecca
