Login failure


I can’t log in to My O2 app. It says login failure; I can use it via the website, but with the same credentials, I can’t log in to My o2 app. Why?

Were you able to log into the App before or was this the first time you tried to use the app?

No, I am trying it for the first time. I recently purchased a phone via o2. I could’nt see the order details or billing details or anything in the website, and I saw it will be available in my o2 app, but is not able to login. Should I register as a new customer again?

To register you must use the contract number.

you’ll have to register again in that case. As the account that you are currently using isn’t connected to the contract itself and as such you also can’t access any information for it.

Where do I find my contract number? I only have my order details with me. I can’t find it on any of the mails I received.

You can find the o2 my Handy contract number on the invoice or on the delivery bill of the device.
Do you have either of these?

Hey, I have my bill, but it doen,t have a Vertragsnummer. I looked for it, but it doesn’t say contract number in it.

then this is not an invoice but a delivery note.

Then, how can I request for an invoice, or where can I find more details about my contract? I haven’t been deducted any monthly fee yet, I have given my details and the first payment was deducted, and the monthly payments is not taken, I don’t want them to take a huge amount at once. Please help me with this. Thank you.

The invoice with the contract number will arrive separately by post.

the invoice always comes a bit later, so for now I’d just wait a few more days and then you’ll probably have the requisite documents in your mailbox.

I received a letter, saying I have to pay the monthly amount. Also has a fine with it, and I thought that it will be debited from my credit card monthly, why is it not debiting automatically? Should I always send the money to the bank account every month? Is there anyway I could do it as a sepa? I have submitted all those details when I bought it, i thought that it will be debited every month. And by having contract number and create an o2 account, could I be able to edit all those details?

Have you received your o2 my Handy bill with your contract invoice?
If you have received a reminder because one or more installments are outstanding, then most likely a debit from your account will not have worked because the installments are normally always debited from your account on a monthly basis.

(Unless you have switched to bank transfer with us, which is not the case here).
After a payment on your part, we can then debit the next installment from your account again.
Have you transferred the outstanding installment to us in the meantime with your customer number in the reason for payment?
