Hello!
I am wanting to sign up to O2. However when I fill out the online form for the mobile plan that I want, it asks me to put my mobile number and area code in. Because my current number is Australian, the area code for Australia is +61. So I put this in and then the rest of my mobile number. Unfortunately I am unable to continue completing the form as a notice comes up stating “the area code must begin with 0” and thus I cannot proceed to the next page. How do I get around this? I have tried to contact O2 via the live chat service and WhatsApp service but it’s a robot both times which is very frustrating.
Also, ideally I would like to keep my current mobile number.
Has anyone else signed up to o2 when coming from another country?
