Invalid SIM

I have recently travelled to home country and I changed my sim to another phone . I have to enter sim pin which i forgot and tried to unlock by entering PUK. After many attempts of entering correct PUK code , now I have notification of invalid sim . Please help to suggest how to activate the sim again

Hi @venus007 ,

 

have you tried another phone?

That might show something else, but thal will only work if the OS or a security program rejects the SIM. It won´t work if the SIM is PUK locked.

After entering the wrong PUK 10 times, the SIM will be unusable and will need to be exchanged.

Yes, I have tried on two other phones which notified the same issue.

For the SIM to be exchanged, can it be done online or do I have to visit the store personally?

Dear @venus007 ,

 

you can order the exchange of your SIM card under “Mein o2”, but the SIM card will only be delivered to a German address and it must not have been changed recently. Alternatively you can go to an o2 store and get a new SIM card there. The exchange of the SIM card costs 29.99 Euro once, no matter if you exchange online or go to the store. Please have your four-digit personal customer code ready when you go to the store.
