I would like to change my tariff from O2 Free M Boost online to the flex tariff prepaid 9ct

Hello,

I would like to change my tariff from O2 Free M Boost online to the flex tariff prepaid 9ct (https://www.o2online.de/tarife/prepaid-tarife/) at the end of my current O2 contract (March 2023).

Can anyone explain me how to do it online/email? When I try to change tariff online, I cannot see desired prepaid option. I contacted via whatsapp, but didn’t yet manage to speak with a person (while the AI answer cannot answer me).

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

Hello @9119DR,

It's not easy to change. You order a free card, register it and when it is active, you use this form to transfer your phone number.

Best regards

Hello @Vilureef ,

Thank you for your quick answer! Is there any way I can cancel my contract but still keep my phone number without paying a monthly fee? (I no longer live in Germany, but need to keep my phone number until 2025).

Best regards

Hello @Vilureef,

Will I keep my phone number if I fill in that form?

I no longer live in Germany, but need to keep my phone number until 2025.

Thank you.

Hello @9119DR,

No, in order to keep your phone number you need a German residence.

Best regards

Hello @9119DR, welcome at or community. 😀

I can understand why you want to keep your phone number. You can port it to another contract but unfortunately you can't take it with you without it. I'm sorry I can't tell you anything else.

Kind regards, Ines.
